This harness was developed to bypass the original IFS (Ignition Fail Sensor), which is prone to failure without warning, resulting in no ignition or tachometer signal.

It is plug and play, picking up the crank sensor signal and running it back into the main harness with the added security of a 15amp fuse to cater for newer coils with higher output.

We recommended this to be used alongside our R8 Ignition Coil Upgrade Harness
