Expandable Braid Wire Sleeving - Per Meter

Expandable braid sleeving provides an excellent layer of abrasion / heat protection for your wiring, and professional look when bundling wires together.

The expanding / shrinking nature of this product allows it to suit a variety of loom sizes, and still remain flexible throughout the loom.

How to use

When expandable braid is cut, the ends want to expand and fray outwards, for the best results, using a hot wire cutter will seal the ends to prevent this. However, I often use, and recommended sharp scissors and then a quick hit with a lighter. 

For further security, it is recommended to seal over the ends of the braid with heat shrink. This can be seen in any of my wiring loom products for an example.

Size and Specifications

Worth noting is how the length of the braid shortens as it is expanded. Having the braid completely expanded will reduce the overall length to roughly 30%.
